Chavez won that fight, until he quit i mean. well, that guy was too big for him but a rematch at 170 lbs. and Chavez will show him what the conqueror of Brian Vera is all about! and i'm not talkin 'bout Gabe Rosado either.

Fonfara gave Jr a does of his own medicine in by beating up on the smaller man.

In other words, he roughed Chavez Jr. up on the inside.

If I were Chavez Sr, I would disown Jr.

i thought Jr's lack of boxing ability and being drained were bigger factors than the size differential, as Fonfara is a far cry from being a formidable puncher.

Fonfara is a much better fighter than people give him credit for. He gave Stevenson hell and deserves a rematch. I have no idea why I picked Chavez Jr in this fight.

    I wouldn't mind seeing Kovalev-Fonfara.

Yeah, it was pretty good, although we shouldn't read too much into it as Chavez was simply awful. Anyone would have looked good in there against him.

i don't think jr takes his training seriously. he has some skill, some heart, good chin but he is a super spoiled cry baby! he literally cries anytime there is anything even close to an infraction, similar to floyd in the maidana fights. he is such a rich entitled punk he makes you root against him, if he could get his training right he could sell so many tickets and would have a lot of supporters if he could change his attitude and turn it all around but sadly i don't think he has the drive to do it, he will just continue to eat, smoke, drink, party and live off of his fathers fame.

it's sad because he could actually live up to his fathers name if he would take his training seriously. he would have beat martinez and maybe even ggg if he trained the way he should.

Nope. JMM is an embarassment to Mexicans by drinking **** and taking PEDS.

How many rich kids would box? Chavez was outgunned and he and his corner knew it.

I'm torn as to which beat down was more satisfying, Chavez Jr or Miadina/Broner. I really enjoyed Broners whoopin but, this Chavez beating was a long time coming.
