I don't know, Kessler looked like total **** in his last fight. Flat footed, no snap in his punches, and that amazing jab is completely gone :-( Yes, he did KO Green, but he looked nothing like the Kessler i know... Thats why it think Jr can beat him, because Kessler looks like a C class fighter now imo... He should retire
If I were to pave the next 3 fights for Chavez at SMW, I'd have him take on Steiglitz/AA winner, then Pavlik, then either Bute or Dirrell. If he can win all of those comfortably, he's ready for Froch Kessler or Ward. Again though...I doubt he makes it past Martinez. He beats all of the other MWs with the exception of Golovkin.
168 is an overrated divvision. they look good fighting each other because they are all crappy fighters. chavez will just be fine. there are ver few hard punchets in that division anyway so what is there to worry.
