Chavez-Zbik card looking good!

    Looks like there's going to be a quality undercard for this...

    Vanes Martirosyan vs Saul Roman
    Rafa Marquez vs TBA (10 rounder)
    Julio Cesar Miranda vs Brian Viloria
    Boxrec also reckon Miguel Vazquez is on the card

    Now if all that comes off with Rafa against a decent opponent that is a good night of boxing. The only thing is it's on the same night as Froch-Johnson.

    It really does need a strong undercard seeing as it's PPV. That's shaping up to be a solid undercard.

    Miranda-Viloria will be fight of the card without doubt IMO. A cant-miss for me.

    It's on regular HBO mate. That's why I'm surprised they're stacking the card.

    Wow, JCC Jr last two fights (which weren't as good as this) were PPV. I guess it's all about numbers. Duddy was a big draw at the time so they could afford to make it PPV.

    It will be because of the Mexican TV, Top Rank will have a mega contract with their Mexican Contractors who will demand a decent undercard to go with the Main Event.

    undercard better than the main event, hate to say id like to see certain fighters beat but i hope zbik beats jnr

    According to Steve Kim Mikey Garcia is also on the card against "a very good opponent" who's a "huge upgrade over Billy Dib" :happy

    What if....Garcia vs...Rafa?! :hey

    Yeah, but they were Top Rank PPV's, not HBO. None of the major networks were interested in showing those fights, but Arum and co thought they could make a few bob by putting them on PPV themselves.
