Choi would be ****ed at world class, he's pretty easy to hit. Chin or not it'd be a bit different getting hit by a world class puncher consistently. He's also pretty inaccurate so at the top level I'd expect they'd avoid his bombs quite easily. If he'd have had a good run at it say 4-5 years ago you never know, he was a late bloomer probably and he may have ground something out against the right opponent.

That's him :good Really quiet unassuming type of guy who for some reason has Mongolians come to his gym . He done good with Choi and it was just a shame couldn't push him on after Matthews win.
A very avoided fighter at a time when he needed a string of decent bouts to propel himself into something approaching world title contention. The problem was that fighting him didn't bring any real financial reward and, because he isn't eligible for either the British, Commonwealth, or European titles but he's fighting out of the UK there was never any real incentive for the top British guys to face him. So the best he could ever aim for were the WBF and WBU belts, I believe he also won an intercontinental bauble or two. Those sort of titles are the best he can hope for in the twilight of his career too (along with Prizefighter of course) but hopefully he can pick up a few decent paydays in his final fights...
Whats his status regarding the British title? He's been over here a few years now, may he could look at becoming assimilated (or whatever the word is!) and go for that title.
yeah, its been 10 years or so. maybe the govt have introduced a coherency in post-fight interview test which is holding him back
As far as I know he still only holds a Mongolian passport, he probably has indefinite leave to remain by now (presuming he hasn't had more than a certain time each year out of the country) because he must have been over here for more than ten years, but that doesn't proffer any rights to citizenship that's another step, and I would imagine that the British title eligibility rules would be British passport holders only.
