I don't mind him fighting a Klit victim. I dont think we'd see Peter-Klit II or Thompson-Klit II even if either beat Chris because both were such one sided affairs. I think if either defeated Arreola then Wlad & Vitali would just move on to Chagaev, Povetkin, Valuev etc. Chris just needs to fight some named opponents. I know he probably won't and I completely agree with the least risk before a big payday. But this is boxing. David Haye is getting a championship match after 1 heavyweight fight against a non-lethal opponent. When Evander Holyfield turned heavyweight he fought James Tillis (a journeyman), Michael Dokes (who was 37-1-2 and a former world title contender), Adilson Rodrigues (not a top contender by any means but he was 35-2 at the time), Alex Stewart (who was undefeated), and Seamus McDonough (who was 19-1-1). Now this is far from a who's who of late 80's/early 90's heavyweights. But it shows that he did take a number of fights against fighters with good records before getting his chance against Douglas. It is sad that the heavyweight division is so dilluted with 3 champions and little talent that you can get a big money title shot befor eproving anything.

Yeh - I agree with the sentiments in the post above 100%.

It's sad to read comments that Arreola shouldn't take on anyone dangerous coz he'd risk his possible title shot. I'm also one who doesn't think Haye should be getting one either without at least one decent win over a top HW.

The trouble is that Wlad is more often than not fighting people who are to some extent untested.

Probably a no risk fringe contender or journeyman. Monte Barrett would be due for a beating, he'd be a good opponent for him with a solid name. And the angle(I beat Barrett worse than you did). Of course that's just all speculations. Klitschko is going to stop Arreola in 2-3 rounds.

Forgive me, I don't speak ****** so it was hard to distinguish what the **** he was trying to say. :nut

Either way he didn't deny it. If he was talking about Arreola then I agree, he looks badly out of shape. But to agree that Peter's chin is questionable is just nuts. Hazel nuts! :deal
