If I rated Sonny 3 instead of 2, you wouldnt even be questioning my rank of him. In fact If I had it 1. Ali 2. liston 3. louis you wouldnt be questioning my ranking of him.

I'm pretty sure you would have copped some heat for Liston over Louis too.

    another example...

jeff lacy fought nearly his entire fight with vitali tsypko with a similar injury and despite that he squeaked out an MD. but he gets nothing but **** for that display. especially impressive when you consider it was coming off the back of his destruction at the hands of calzaghe.

You get more ligament damage when using steroids actually. Anyway Vitali tested positive for steroids, Holyfield did not

Incorrect again, you know nothing about steroids Russell. His injurys are actually in line with steroid related sports injurys

Then why is Holyfield on your list?

How do you know Liston was not on steroids? They around since the 50's and Liston certainly was bigger than most of his contemporaries and ripped. No doubt that the mob wanted to make "investements".

There was no control back then and he was never caught. What about Foreman? Norton?

Not to mention that you think Klitschko lacks the heart of a champion (despite what he showed against Lewis with his eye hanging on a thread) while Liston is the clear #2 in head to head ability who also quit?

    Why the double standard SuzieQ?

Back to front, the more powerful the steroid the more chance of ligament/joint damage because your muscle strength increases when your ligament/joint stays the same.

Look at Dorian Yates he was tearing ligaments left right and centre on the strongest Roids around

Most of Vitali's injuries stem from his kick boxing days.

Again this is supposition and very unlikely, you don 't know the cause of his injuries and over the course of 10 years the body would almost certainly recover

Vitali's injury's could be caused by any number of factors BUT I will tell you ligament/joint injuries of this nature are in line with steroid abuse

Sportsman have had the type of injrues Vitlai had long berfore steriods came into play.

The main thing to foucs on is this. Vitlai always tested clean as a pro.

In fact he had to be clean. Vitali was viewed as an outsider with a teir two promoter who wanted a peice of the action.
