on another too weird to be true note, i heard that he wrote a book called "love is an uphill thing" and in it theres a passage where a policewoman says a local girl has gone missing and shows him a photo and he says "if i see her ill spend the night with her as my reward" and he says in the book she turned up at a dance he was hosting and he spent the night with her before taking her home, surely the policewoman/anyone that read that book must have thought somehting wasn't right about that

Had to laugh at "He was rude and arrogant" coming from DeGale, but not for a second do I believe that Eubank Jr came anywhere near "schooling" him.

I can't really see the problem here. A bit of trash talking & needle never done the sport any harm. Eubank Jnr is trying to get his name out there.

Eubank Jnr isnt silly, his dad has said all along that channel 5 is a vehicle to gain his son exposure, he has his Twitter address on his shorts. It's all part of the game.

There's a nice little rivalry brewing here, let it continue

 

exactly. as a neutral, IMO Degale beat Groves. However because Groves brings out the nasty side in Degale, Degale lost the plot & lost the public, & they couldnt wait to rob him.

Still makes me shake my head in disbelief to this day when I see people celebrate Groves robbery win, like the good guy got it up the wrong 'un! Degale hated him for a reason!

 

That win was no way a robbery. It was a close fight that could have gone either way. DeGale just didn't do enough for me. He froze completely. Him and his doofus trainer expected Groves to come out swinging. When it didn't happen, they didn't have a clue what to do.

 

Jr will never become as hated as his dad was.

Opinions change by the fight in boxing:

Groves v Anderson - Groves is the arrogant one, wearing a shitty hat at the weighin acting the big boy.

Groves v Degale - Degale is the arrogant one, Groves wears an ASDA suit on Ringside acting as if butter wouldn't melt.

Now the tide is turning for Degale too.
