I have been a massive fan of Chris Eubank Senior over the years, legend. He has been through his fair share of heartache in life as we all have. However, I don't know whether he is doing it for views or to stir up some interest in the fight, motivate Eubank Junior etc but his constant berating and criticism of his son on the internet, interviews and public is putting me off Senior., its negative energy. I'm not saying the kid couldn't have done things differently in some ways but if you need to talk to your son do it behind closed doors and sort it out! Its your flesh and blood, guide him as you see in private. Especially when he speaks fondly in public of his ex rival's son, Benn junior!
Senior is an egomaniac, good character or not. I get the feeling he just cannot live life without being in the spotlight and being the centre of attention. He cannot dominate Eubank Junior as he can with say Harlem Eubank and I think that pisses him off.

I like Senior as well but it's bizarre that he seems more upset about Junior egging a drug cheat than he does about the drug cheat. Hearn and Benn tried to dehydrate his son down to a weight that looked like a medical emergency two years ago and then have him fight a chemically enhanced opponent. Chris Junior could have died. There's no way I'll ever believe the weight making for that fight had nothing to do with the Liam Smith loss.
My admiration for Junior has grown massively over the last 2 years. To emerge from the shadow of a guy like Senior must be exceptionally hard and the way he justifiably treats Hearn and the Henn have me literally cheering him on. He's fighting for the good of boxing in April and I hope he absolutely demolishes the cheating little runt.

If you ever saw the At Home With The Eubanks reality show you’d see that this has been his parenting style from day one.

I liked him as a fighter and he was cool to me when I met him, but he’d be a nightmare to have as a dad.

Senior has a old school mentality to parenting. It's not for everybody but for some it helps a lot, but like with anything the time comes when the children want to break free from it and be who they want to be, you still love and respect your parents but you need to do it your own way. Eubank Jr can talk just fine, he owned the press conferences against the Benn's and Hearn easily, hopefully they can fix their relationship in a way that suits both of them, as life is way too short, especially with family to have things that may not be important on anyway, get in the way of the people who you should be able to trust and count on the most.

Jr. simply is not worthy of carrying the name Christopher Livingstone Eubank. If he loses to Ben, Sr. should consider disowning him.

Senior is a narcissistic sleaze, in my opinion. Overrated as a boxer also.

I think he's a great character, Sr but if anyone had delusions of grandeur it's him. The way he talks about the queen is cringe worthy.

Eubank didn’t have to sign the paper for the freak show fight in the first place. He wasn’t held at gunpoint. It’s a nothing fight anyway and he’s ridiculously rich from a bang average career for one reason, his dad’s name. If he’d have died because of fighting in the freak show fight it would have been his own fault for chasing extra pound notes in a dangerous way.

    Senior is a narcissist

Look at his track record with (alleged) adultery and the raising of children. Joke of a guy.
