Chris gave Wlad his props.

Chris Arreola called Wlad a great fighter. Interviewed by Barry Tompkins during the Toney-Oquendo fight he compared Wlad to a prime Toney. "Wlad is like James. He makes you fight his fight. He's a great fighter" Major props to Chris. Finally, a top U.S. heavyweight fighter tells it like it is. Good luck to Chris in his quest for the heavyweight championship. Maybe he will figure out a way to slay the big, bad dragon of the division, The Steelhammer Dr. Wlad Klitschko.

 

somehow don't even see him mkaing it to a fight with Klitschko. was not impressed with his last performence.

 

Chris has always had great things to say about Wlad. Wlad brought him in for some sparring before, and Arreola was talking for a quite a while about how great Wlad is. He said that his right hand is brutal, and that his left hook is the best punch in boxing.

 

Thats all Arreola will ever be, a sparring partner, thats why Wlad is going to fight him instead of Haye.

 

At least he's being realistic, Wlad would destroy Arreola

Widdow Faker is the same dufus who believes Chris Byrd would have a good chance of defeating some of the truly great heavyweights of the past. He believes this bull**** only because Chrissy Byrd, a blown up SMW/Lt Heavy, is the biggest name on EPO Wladdy's career - which doesn't say much about Wlad now does it?

I have no interest in seeing Wlad-Arreola. IMO, he's a poor man's version of Sam Peter circa 2005. Slower feet, even more fat, weaker chin, less power, even shittier defense if that's possible too. Peter was able to land his rabbit punches on wlad cuase he could walk through wlad's firepower early. He also had pretty quick feet at that time. I remember thinking Peter could develop into a real beast at that time with his chin, power and aggression.

Wlad neeeds to fight Povetkin or Valuev next. Either one is a good opponent. Arreola seems like an American HBO hypejob at this point. I'd pick at least 10 guys to beat him.
