Not delusional, he will make HOF, there are guys with less accomplishments under their belts that have made it.

    John is in

I saw Chris John fight live against Rocky Juarez on the JMM-Diaz undercard here in Houston. Atleast I can see I got to see the guy fight live once.

He was slated to Headline John-Juarez 2 at the Statples Center with Ortiz-Maidana Co-Feature, but when that fight got scrapped (due to injuries) Ortiz-Maidana went on to be main event, and became the notoriously famous "I am too young to get beat up like this" event.

Louis had 25 consecutive defenses and Armstrong , Galaxy and Pedroza all had 19.
The record is 25 not 19.

    How many can you name?

I'd be very surprised if that list was longer than one comprising eligible fighters who have accomplished more, but have yet to be inducted.

He is ducked big time buddy, no one wants to get schooled by Chris John. Its a bad feeling of helplessness walking around eating jabs and slick rights all night.

Thats why Abner Mares is pretending he doesn't exist :yep, at this point of Chris John career its up to the Young Lions if any to come knock down his door & try to knock him out of his throne

We are taking All time Featherweight record, as in Chris John wants to retire as the Greatest featherweight of all time. Which should happen soon as he remains unchallenged & no male seems to be capable of calling him out.

Just anonymous trolls trying to discredit his dominant win against JMM

Youtube Video? if Gamboa was sincere in his desire to fight the Great Chris John, he would have stuck around and made the fight happen. Instead he took the easy way out and ate his way out of Featherweight.

50cents himself a genius strategist decided to lose his featherweight lead against the Russian Mexican. He knew better than to challenge Chris John, although Billy Dib was just across the border down and under

In your very first post of this thread you mention Marciano. As far as Featherweights Abe Attell may have had 22 , though this is disputed so just to be safe Chris should probably try for 23 defenses at least and if he does that why not bump it up to 26 to beat Louis? So far , it seems as though he can do as he pleases in the division, and it is not out of the realms of possibility that he could overtake Louis.

This. It's really only an accomplishment for heavies because fluke knockouts are always a possibility...even for champions.

Well that's true of every division with punchers - it just so happens that the majority of big guys can hit. A welterweight division with a few hearns types would be just as likely to end a title reign on the canvas. Below feather knockouts really drop off statistically I think but you always have guys like r Marquez and Vasquez who can turn the lights off even on dominant boxers. Risky business. Heavyweights actually have more longevity than small guys (speed goes first)
