Burns looks **** poor, I doubt he would beat Woodhouse or Hamilton at this point.

 

I always get abuse when I talk about Burns, but the reality is he never fought a truly world class opponent at LW until Crawford who schooled him. It was an example of a reign in which he was perfectly matched (mostly by FW).

He's a really nice guy and an excellent pro, but his days at the top are over.

He fought degale when both were novice pro's & also a 400 year old glen Johnson... So it's hardly like he was setting the world on fire. Truth be told if smith managed to get a groves fight next year it would be a lot more warranted than the froch groves 1.
