    IB, any idea of the rationale for no longer being able to quote the poster you are addressing ?

    And is this a temporary glitch, or permanent ?

    And finally, has the lounge been switched off or completely erased.

    I had some stuff in there (Poems. pic threads etc) that I would like to have saved had I known of its imminent demise.

    Finally, finally, will you still continue with the RBRs ?

    Completely erased last night.

    Real sorry man, but that content is gone. Irretrievably. So is lots of mine, and lots of many people's.

    That remains to be seen...

    Almost exactly half my posts (10,000) disappeared with the lounge, so I was posting 50 % lounge, 50 % GF/Classic.

    I had opened an account at another site for 'lounge' posts, mainly, but continued to post here in the GF (not as bad as some say) and the classic (very good).

    However, if we can no longer quote the person we're addressing, it makes remaining here a bit pointless.

    Hope that part is a temporary hiccup.

    Almost exclusive lounge, with a smattering of general posts. The rest were all in classic. But that was mostly when China_Hand_Joe was asserting Sugar Ray Robinson was too short to fight Calzaghe, and him then posting a picture of Calzaghe next to Sugar Ray Leonard to prove his point.

    ****ing weird thread that was.

    I'm equally baffled here and have no idea what's going on. I imagine these might be temporary measures, as clearly there is a transition of sorts taking place it would seem.
