kimbo will always have a punchers chance against woever, specially against chuck because he won't shoot at all. chuck would most probably win with leg kicks. he just has to be very careful not to get hit

Chuck is elite, and has beaten elite- it's ridiculous to put the two together at the moment. Kimbo is UNPROVEN. Right now, Chuck ****s up Kimbo and sends him back to street fighting bums.

Understand what I'm saying please. I take nothing from Chuck. He is a future Hof'er and was the face of MMA for years. I'm just not sure he is still on top and I don't rate Kimbo anywhere near him in terms of what he has done. The guy is a huge man with pretty good strikes. Size difference and the fact that Kimbo has some skill make this closer than some want to admit.

To be fair chuck has a better chin than kimbo and superior strking skills, kimbo has been rocked by bums in alot of his later street fights he was getting rocked.

Depends. Kimbo has amazing composure when trading punches. He can stand and bang while slipping punches better than many MMA artists.
I can see him slipping Chucks wide punches and backing Chuck up. Possibly countering Chuck. Picture what Rampage did on the second fight with Chuck but with more pressure. That's a long shot though.

Most likely chuck will destroy him because he is light years ahead of Kimbo in the game.

Bas Rutten is turning Kimbo into a mixed martial artist. Although Kimbo is still green, at this point in their respective careers, his size and power may be too much for Chuck Liddell to handle. Watching Chuck drop like a rock against Rampage makes it hard to imagine him handling a larger, stronger puncher like Kimbo.

Exactly. If Bas is his trainer then you have to give him some additional consideration. Bas will probably make the most out of anything he has.

Yeah, as someone else said, I would find it odd that he would have trained heavily in takedown defence to prepare for Chuck, for Arona he probably trained non stop in it.

And Chuck obviously ****s Kimbo up something rotten at the moment, in a few years, who knows?

Kimbo should fight Houston Alexander if he wants a fight against someone he can just swing away at and see who falls first, anyway.

Obviously you haven't seen much of Liddell to make such a statement. Chuck usually counters very well, especially against a crude slugger like Kimbo. Liddell also has HW type power in both hands & great grappling, although he rarely needs it for anything more than stuffing takedown attempts.

Il keep it real iv been very critical of Kimbo in regards to his credentials but the facts remain in a sport like MMA whereby the striking isnt a fraction as polished as in Boxing Kimbo would fare well. His very compact throws tight hooks with good power in either hand and has decent head movement. From a pure striking stand point with fists i actually think his techinically superior to Liddell. Obviously Liddells resume and experience arent even comparable and he would be the overwhelming favoruite but purely from a striking perspective i think Kimbo has a decent shout.

Okay, maybe referring to Kimbo as a crude slugger was a bit extreme, he does have a nice left hook & plenty of power.

People Boxing and MMA are two different sports You cannot box(double up on jabs and hooks in MMA you cannot plant your feet very long or your on your back, Boxing helps to learn angles and to turn your opponent A right cross and a right round house Kick is a great combination in MMA. Also you can use boxing footwork to close the gap for a takedown, but if you get stuck on throwing a lot of combos you are going down.
