Forgot to vote... Shogun takes this. Yes he gassed in his last fight. I'm banking on this being due to him having a long layoff and bad injuries. Then again his stamina never was all that. Anyway, I don't think Liddell can handle Shoguns power. Liddell has looked **** recently culminating in him getting brutally Koed last time out. Shogun knocks him out in a round. Seems to me like Dana saw Shogun looked **** against Coleman and saw an opportunity to get his BFF Chuck into position for a title shot.
I'll go with Rua. I know he has not look good his last 2 fights but it's cuz he has been injured. He was not 100% vs Griffin then he had to have surgery after the fight. He was out again after that fight that's why he didn't look so good vs mark coleman. Liddell has slowed down a lot since he loss to rampage again. He has lost 3 of his last 4 fights. I think Shogun will get himself together and train hard for this fight and beat liddell.
I'm going to go with Shogun. This fight is three rounds and I think Mauricio will look the best he has since joining the UFC. Shogun via decision.

Not a good enough reason. I'm taking Shogun by KO. He may not have looked good in his last 2 fights but fighting Chuck I believe is gonna raise his level of preparation. Remember Chuck is losing lately because now he's fighting guys that can bang back at him. When he was champ walking through guys that was against Couture, Horn, Babalu & Tito who are ground guys. He fights Rampage, Jardine, Silva & Rashad and he's getting hit and losing for the most part(exception to Silva) Shogun has never been knocked out and has the style that can get to Chuck too because he can throw back at him. Most of Chucks victims couldn't.
All Liddell has to do is circle and back pedal for 3 rounds. Eventually Shogun will gas out and tap because of lack of oxygen.
