Generally that is what Chuck does. Did he really say that?

    How quickly they forget.........................

Chuck is still the man even if he's on the decline.

All the losses in the world won't change what Chuck has done.

Belfort, Ortizx2, Couture x2....... It speaks for itself.

True, but if Chuck fights some of these guys he beat before, it probably wont be a good result this time. At 37 Chuck looks way on the decline and should consider retiring.

We should not forget what Chuck was.

I've seen some highlights and he looks to be sloppy - no kicks, getting caught easy with kicks, not fighting his fight, open as hell upstairs, horribly inaccurate and more...

    It might be age.

I found it amazing he took all those kicks and never flinched, his legs must be black and blue today, but they must have worked because he slowed down in rounds 2 and 3 and really didn't do much . He just let Jardine take the decision.

actually he is not the man anymore after 2 straight loses you go to the back of the bus. MMA works on a what have you done for me lately basis.

As another poster said, they can't take away what he's done already. Maybe it is time for The Iceman to retire, as well as Cropcop.

Some fighters style's don't age well and that goes for most strikers.

I believe a more well rounded game is nec. to have the late career success of Couture.

Chuck seemed to come out determined & focused then for some reason never got off. He really backed up after he ate some flush shots from Jardine; specifically after he was knocked down from a punch.
Jardine looked extremely scared in the beginning and was fighting very sloppy and weird at times, but it was effective enough to avoid some of Chucks shots.
Nevertheless, it is obvious this version of Chuck is beginning to look like a shell of the past,. He is beyond his prime and it is now showing. He doesn't seem to be aggressive when he needs to be anymore. Its almost like he is loosing the trigger/timing he had...he almost knew when to throw certain punches and lay it on a guy when he saw an opening....Jardine gave many openings, but for some reason Chuck didnt go after him. In fact, im going to say that even in the Tito Lidell 2 rematch, Lidell could have finished off Tito sooner, but he didn't...
A guy like Houston Alexander would eat this version of Chuck alive. Lets hope they dont put him up against him anytime soon and becomes Houstons' stepping stone.

The fight was like watching too bar fighters, the only thing different was a lack of cursing.

Chuck was on top for a long time, but it looks like that time hass passed. Tito had a similar run. . . these guys cant stay on top forever.
