With Cintron talking all this smack about wanting to fight Cotto, I would think a better match up for him would be against Quintana. Id even have Quintana winning this fight. Not sure why there havent been any talks about this fight going down. :huh Any thoughts ??? :smoke
that matchup makes sense...this will be perfect because an actual welterweight pecking order will be established if this fight & cotto vs clottey happens....
This is a good match up i would like to see the day before the PR parade, undercard to Cotto-Clottey, I think Kermit Cintron would win by punchers luck. It not that I think Cintron is a punching god, I actually think his power is slightly overrated, because he has not KOed anybody good, and he hasn't knocked anybody out lately, but Quintana's chin is questionable to me and Cintron has enough power to test it, and a good enough trainer to help him figure it out.
I'd like to see Cintron vs quintana....Quintana is alot better than Cintron but if Cintron catches him than its good night! I doubt he'd land flush though!
Quintana by UD. He is too skilled for Cintron and I don't think Cintron's power is that big to land one big shot and put Quintana away.
Someone who I know in the Quintana camp says the fight hasn't been brought up to them. Arum had preliminary talks about Clottey vs Quintana but that went nowhere because the money couldn't add up.
What about Cintron VS Santos or Quintana VS Santos, since they both jump to 154(Cintron and Quintana) and Santos is WBA Super Welter Champ.....
