Claressa Shields LOSES to Savannah Marshall

Please enlighten me. When and how have I ever been racist on this board?

I support fighters from every corner of the world - black, white, Hispanic, and Asian - it doesn't matter. Unlike you, I don't let a racial agenda skew my reality of fighters' status within a division. I've openly stated that I dislike fighters from all over - particularly critical of those from NZ/Aus.

A few quick mentions:

• Mayweather was one of my favourite fighters in history until he decided to beat up his baby mother in front of his children.
• I was excited for Canelo's rise in the Welterweight scene and was a very vocal fan until he got popped for blatant PED use and tried to rob Mayweather in plain sight.
• Billy Joe Saunders has always been entriguing to me, as he offers a solid skillset and promise in his division - beating the fraud Eubank Jr immediately made me a fan. However his slurs/actions outside of the ring made me dislike him more than most in boxing.
• Kovalev was a hard-hitting mule that was entertaining to watch. All respect was lost when I found about his POS character outside of the ring.
• Shields looked promising coming up and a welcome addition to the female boxing scene. Bringing ring craft and technical skills that it desperately needed. Again, her POS status outside of the ring tainted that for me.

These are noted because they're not of one race or skin colour and come from all different corners of the world. The only thing in common is that all 5 are shitty human beings.

Put a label on that as being racist if you wish, but I'm not the one with a skewed reality of what a racial agenda is - you are.
Put yourself down as a 'patriotic' poster if you wish, but everyone can see exactly what you're saying.

 

You damn fool we all know you don't like the fact that I support American fighters it rubs you the wrong way. The best boxers in American boxing right now happen to be of black and Latino those are facts, so you will see me hyping them and cheering for them so i must be a racist because i ride with them??? Ridiculous. With that said I support American boxers including guys like Smith jr and Plant who I rooted for hard in their last fights so spare me with that ****. You just don't like that a black poster who really is about that life and have proven idiots like you wrong about me with video proof knows boxing talks **** supports American boxers and tells it like it is.

I'll be right here to rub it in your ****ing faces like I have been for years if you don't like it too bad.

 

Yeah, a member of her entourage, she's not legally culpable but that's her crowd. Shields did have something to do with it, she was getting into it with Bashir before the viscious assault took place. I somehow doubt you would be looking at it through this kind of lens had a similar situation occurred on the block you grew up on, or had a different fighter been involved.

 

People talk **** and get into it with people all the time. Now if it was me I wouldn't fight or hit an old man but her brother or cousin felt differently. Some people won't let you make it no matter who or how old you're that's what peolpe need to realize I already know that going in.

 

Has her brother ever faced justice for that cowardly attack ??

spectacular. Shields brother should receive a long sentence but probably wont

 

I support American boxers for some reason around here it's a problem.

 

I support all genuine boxers I don't care if they come from Kentucky, Kazakhstan or Kings Cross. All I want is Can they FIGHT!! Someone once accused me of being racist LOL! I guess I kinda am I support The HUMAN Race !!!

 

Shields will beat the crap out of Marshal. This fight is not going to be close. She may even make Marshal quit on her stool. Mark my words.

 

@Pimp C you really have a way with words, colour me impressed. Nothing wrong with supporting your compatriots as long as it doesn't cloud people's judgment. (It almost always does unfortunately)

Shields doesn't have the power and physicality to keep Marshall off her. You can only partly compensate with skill over physical advantages.
She would need to hit and run for the entire affair to maybe eek out a close decision, and then remember she isn't fighting at home, so she wouldn't get the decision anyway.

I predict Marshall to beat her up, because there seems to be no anti-Marshall Shields can play here.

 

I support Savannah because she's from my local area.
