Seems like he's either very underrated or very overrated by people. Something about Calzaghe drives mass emotion from people one way or the other. The more haters you got, the better you probably are. He had the better career than Ivan Calderon and probably level with or just below Pongsaklek Wonjongkam. I respect both of them tremendously so that is quite a compliment.
Nah, Calderon was a midget even for a Strawweight. The mother ****er was like 4'11, I was taller than that when I was 8 years old. He might be the best p4p of all time. Imagine your 7 year old nephew or son becoming a long time reigning champion like that? ****'s simply amazing.
Of course. That's like a Walrus(in Slappy Joe's case a seal) vs a small penguin. One slap and the penguin gets KO'd. :deal
As non-thrilling as Calzaghe's competition was, Calderon's was equal to that until the end of his run. Wasn't Calderon's fault that 105 is 105 and it's tough to ascend "ATG lists" and "best resume lists" at that weight for many reasons that lead to a lack of depth of worthy competition. P4P more skilled than Calzaghe all day every day. But not the better resume, unfortunately.

Wow, everyone has a different opinion, i accept that more often than not!, but your taking the **** if you think he isn't even top 200! True boxing fans are impartial to boxers nationalitys!
scar there is no way joe is the greatest fighter in wales, there are several others who rate above him, it is highly insulting towards wales and welsh people to say he was the greatest fighter in wales.
