You are not mistaken Burt - the Hank it be:good He just had to try and go one better (or two) than Joe Louis didn't he? - three titles at three different weights?? - all at the same time!!? - the guy was just being greedy - I can't imagine any other fighter in history at any other point in history being able to have done that!!?
Yes Rocky, Armstrong was one of a kind ,alongst Harry Greb in that they were able to go 2 divisions above rheir weight,and be successful. Sadly in 1943, I saw the 22 year old Robinson, play with the fading 31 year old Armstrong at MSG. Ray didn't want to hurt his idol. Cheers Rocky :good
