I was about to post some Patterson pics and I came across a strange article about Patterson vs Liston anybody ever heard about this....... Cus D'Amoto requested the hearing to demonstrate that a person under hypnosis could not feel a punch. D'Amoto had Green hypnotised by Marshall Brodien. D'Amoto, manager of Heavyweight Champiom Floyd Patterson, charged that Sonny Liston had arranged to be hypnotised prior to the upcoming title fight so he Liston would not feel Patterson's punches. As it turned out Sonny Liston took care of putting Floyd Patterson "under" at 2:06 of the first round via a knockout.
yes, i have read that a few times...but everywhere i read it, they never said if he felt or was hurt by the punch.....thats what i want to know.

Rocky, thanks for posting the photos of Stanley Ketchel.. As I have previously posted my late older Uncle ,as a youngster saw Ketchel train in Van Cortland Park,NY.When my dad or i would ask about the training session, my uncle would say " what a good looking guy ketchel was "!.With your pictures, I could see why !
