There was little to no comparison between Tucker and Gregg; none that was being made at the time and nothing that is reflected in their respective records, by '86. So, who are the "everyone who thought Tucker and Gregg were really of a similar level"?

That's the whole point, literally the whole point.

We can debate Liston for his style and attributes. We cannot just dismiss Liston as too small.

How many opponents over 220lb had Usyk faced?

Cooney was a big favourite over Spinks, was expected to knock out Spinks and was a bigger draw than Spinks.

Wouldn't call it a cherry pick at all.

I'd call it a fight that made sense at the time, but isn't regarded as special in hindsight.

    This is so cringe worthy.

You do know boxrec only has 1/12th of the ring rankings.

    Less than 10%

Cobb was better than Broad. Not by much. But certainly higher regarded and more of a “name”fighter.

I'm absolutely not afraid to say I've waited for this victory for 15 years.

When Klitschko dominated Byrd, Haye and Povetkin is did look like the era of SHW fighters was here to stay.

Wilder is very light, but also very tall and looks like he's only a good meal away from being a SHW.

So in 2021, seeing a former CW take AJ to school was brilliant to see.

I think for the rest of my life, I'll now forever be convinced there's no such thing as "too small" when it comes to those who are bigger than LHW.

Debate fights on a case by case. But the vision of a SHW cutting through a lighter fighter like a knife through butter is just false isn't it.

And as a fan of boxing history, that's exhilarating.

He beat Joyce and Chisora before Joshua. He definitely gave hints that he was good as a heavyweight.

There's a difference between being good as a HW and being one of the best at HW.

I favoured Usyk to stop AJ, but seeing the fight and the dynamics between the two was fascinating.

As I said, never again will I believe a SHW wins on size alone.

There's enough evidence through history to completely dismiss that notion. I think we just needed a bit of reaffirmation.

It must have been brilliant for you to see Usyk stand up to AJ. To not be ragdolled and not be swept aside.

I bet your emotional response to the fight was similar to mine.

Heavyweights weren’t winning on size alone. Otherwise Valuev would’ve been GOAT.

But a guy like Wlad had a jab that was like a power punch and his right hand was special too.

As I said the "too big" argument is forever void for me now.

You seem to be implying here that he wasn't.
