Canelo is clearly very angry and threatened by Golovkin, he's not like this with anyone else.
That's why he's aged and avoided Golovkin more than anyone else too.
For somebody who thinks he is superior to Golovkin, he doesn't act like it. He should be calm and confident.
This is good news for Golovkin as it might make Canelo sloppier than usual, giving more chances for a bomb to get through.
I only hope Golovkin isn't serious about just boxing the same style. They'll be desperate to keep Canelo from two losses in a row.

For Canelo fans pre-gloating about Canelo beating up Golovkin, even if he did do this, it would be defeating a 40 year old fighter who he has ducked/delayed three times over. There's no great victory there.

Canelo said that he is more dangerous than ever. Why is that ? is he angry because he was schooled by Bivol ? or he has realized that he is not as good as he/she/it was thinking with his power ?

You forget that he was the same way in the rematch. He was not calm at all when he beat GGG. Canelo seems to do better when angry. Look what he did to Saunders and Plant who talked chit to him in the buildup. When he lost to Bivol, he didn't have that fire in him of being mad at Bivol, to drive him to that next level. Canelo is the kind of fighter who rises the occassion when he has beef with his opponent. He showed that in the rematch with GGG, and in several other fights. When he lost to Mayweather and Bivol, he didn't have that motivation or anger for his opponent, he showed them too much respect and ended up losing. Vs GGG he says he is more dangerous, especially coming off a loss and fighting a guy who has disrespected him, a two-faced person who pretends to be a "nice guy" on the surface but who really is a depraved bitter old man who has said horrible things about Canelo, much of which probably never were translated and never reached English speaking ears. But Canelo knows enough about what GGG said about him to know he's two-faced and that is what makes Canelo more dangerous. If you respect Canelo, he's arguably easier to beat, but when you talk chit on Canelo then you motivate Canelo to give you a worse beating.
Maybe, that's the hope for GGG fans. But that game didn't work in the rematch. Canelo was sloppier in the rematch than in the first fight but that resulted in Canelo winning because he threw caution to the wind, walked GGG down and landed more power shots. Maybe GGG thinks that he can do a better job at exploiting Canelo's aggression this time. If their demeanor at the press conference is anything like how they fight in the ring, then you'd expect GGG not to "go for it" and instead to sit back and jab all night again and wait for his moment, like he did in the rematch, only it was too little too late. Many GGG fans say they expect GGG to be more aggressive too and push for the knockout, in which case it would be like two freight trains crashing into each other at center ring. We never got that toe to toe war that GGG called for after the first fight, maybe we'll get it this time. But GGG seems too calm for that kind of a war, but that could change over the next 3 months. Maybe Canelo keeps calling out GGG and GGG snaps during fight week and decides to go to war.

I don't think Canelo was shook. he looked more tense but GGG wasn't taking the bait.
We will see how it pans out I personally think the fight will be more competitive at 168 than it would at 160 at this point in time.

What he means is it’s going to be harder than ever to beat him (unless by KO).

No way in hell he is going to lose 2 decisions in a row. Even if GGG won 11/12 rounds, they’d rule it a draw at best for GGG.

I don’t think anyone will ever get another decision over Canelo - not Bivol in the rematch either. He HAS to stop Canelo to win.

At 168, GGG won't have to watch his weight and he will be at maximum of his potential. He will knock Canelo the spark out. Canelo won't know what hit him.

Will mean very little. Even if he cracks and starts throwing reckless, youth and granite chin will bail him out in 9/10 cases.

In the first GGG/Canelo fight i believe there was some trepidation & unknown from Canelo due to Golovkin's power/reputation & if Canelo would be able to withstand that,

Then comes the second fight where i believe Canelo now knowing that he could withstand/handle & stand tall with GGG changed the dynamic,

Lastly the third fight now it Seems Canelo is aware that this Aged out GGG is even more vulnerable especially with the way he has been huffing & puffing throughout his last few bouts while Canelo realises he is now in his prime while being supremely confident,

Only thing against Gennady is that he didn't get to fight a few of the other top quality opponents in that time, possibly in order to secure this fight & now he has gotten his wish.

Canelo trying to amp up himself for this fight, hopefully it doesn't backfire if he comes in sloppy trying to blast out Golovkin.

GGG seemed genuinely surprised that Canelo had animosity against him and called him a "ginger mouse"

If Canelo loses this bout he should retire

    Shouldn't he?

Hell he should retire now if you ask me. Useless hypejob.

He had humility when he was younger & was fairly likeable. Now he's just arrogant and loves chirping on about P4P and how he takes risks, yawn. I've never liked GGG really either but he's not really changed personality wise or atleast how he presents himself.

Both men should go for the knockout

Alvarez should go for the knockout to make a statement, because no one is going to care if he gets another decision against a guy he's already fought twice who's now in his 40s

Golovkin should go for the knockout because it should be clear to him by now that he will never win on the cards

If that happens, it will be a great fight.

That outcome would not be surprising in the least, Gennady is going to have to hurt Canelo early to make this a fight.

I read somewhere that Canelo peed a little in his pants.

I agree I think both men will want to make a statement for different reasons.
It might be the last roll of the dice for GGG considering his age and it would be a great point to retire and underline the trilogy.
For Canelo it's restoring order to his "brand" after getting schooled by Bivol and restore any lost confidence.
So I think there's good motivation for both and I think the higher weight might help out GGG a little. I'm not sure what he cuts usually to get down to 160 but it must be at least 10lbs. I think it will be a good fight and I would love GGG to get the win but I'm not confident just hope it's a good fight with no controversy.
