We'll see. Cleverley does have a chance because of the pace he sets combined with the fact that Hopkins is blatantly past his prime, he also has a terrible defence and will be in there with one of the all time great pace setters and masters of boxing in general. We shall see.
F**k off you mug....... nowhere have I claimed that the legend the executioner is shot, Styles make fights Calzaghe outworked B-hop by a couple of rounds and lets not forget Calz was late into his 30's as well, I just think Clev could do the same in a few fights...
Skelton v Sprott is the worst fight I have seen, truly abysmal affair! Hopkins torquers Cleverly if they meet up in the next 2-3 years imho...
Agreed on the first point, or maybe the 2004 thriller that Sprott gave us against Williams.... Clev could shock the world here's hoping!!!
The fight was that terrible guys lets not even mention it again please. Anyway, how on earth does cleverly beat b-hop then, can you give me a fight breakdown please? way i see it is clev gets countered all night until he either drops or loses a wide ud...
How the hell is he going to beat Hopkins? Cleverly is an ill-disciplined fighter and Hopkins frankly will know what Cleverly is going to do at all times before Cleverly even knows himself. He'll shut down Cleverly's offense with no problem whatsoever.
It will probably start with Clev missing a bit and being countered, but as the fight gets into the middle to late rounds Clev pushes hard and Nard starts to grab and spoil, he will start getting tagged more and more cleanly. Then in the championship rounds Clev tags Nard with a solid right cross that sends him to the canvas with Nard claiming he was hit behind the head..... :blurp ok so the last bit was a wind up but yeah, I don't know if Bhop can handle the pace at 48 (which is when the fight could come to fruition if ever) :thumbsup will that do? like I say it's just an opinion.... we all have 1.
