I'm looking for actual opinion's and breakdowns of how this fight would play if ever it did happen.

While might be boring to many, we would still be able to see great technique and that "sweet science"

I would go with lil floyd in this one, but am curious as to what others think, and why they think it

 we all know it'll be boring

activity is what i was going with, was interested if folks would break it down more like lil floyd wouldn't get hit, or lil floyd would counter whatever joshua tried to throw (if any), etc

Mayweather gets through the guard of Clottey with right leads wins a wide decision over Clottey i mean it would be pretty boring I can't see Clottey being effective at all with that style of his

yea reason i brought this up was just watched the cotto and joshua again and while cotto was throwing lead rights they weren't getting through and then he'd get hit with a counter

was wondering if that would happen to lil floyd as well or if he'd be too fast for that to happen

It will be a little bit more interesting if clottey fought like he did vs cotto, he was scared of pacquiao that why he shelled up like that for 12 rounds, I dont think he would do the same thing vs floyd, doesnt change the result though.

Remember that those counter punches that Cotto receive were after the head butt. I in all honesty think that Mayweather would win absolutely every round with much eases. I don't see Clottey risking any types of exchanges with Mayweather.

Clottey is slightly underrated since the Pac fight. He would certainly be more open against Mayweather, he would have to be. Mayweather would have too much for him IMO.

Good battle of the straight rights though.

well to me Floyd is much better technically then Cotto. and I think he was faster.

Something that Cotto managed to do consistently through that bout is counter Clottey in the exchanges. And while there wouldn't be many big exchanges in this fight (imo), I think Floyd could find his spots. Sometimes when Clottey would throw those awkward right leads Cotto managed to throw a left hook and hit him flush.

Floyd I think would have similar success. Clottey kind of goes upright when he punches if you noticed, kind of like Ike Quartey, he doesn't punch completely fundamentally right.

So Floyd would win a decision, just avoiding Clotteys punches and pot-shotting him to a wide decision.

Floyd would be too fast and actuate and have to much movement (shoulder roll)

11-1 UD for Floyd in a painful to watch fight...
