Clottey vs Pacquaio - Break it down

I doubt if Roach would like this fight for Pacquaio.

Clottey is a big, very durable welterweight, with tight defense. He can hurt Pacquaio definitely.

Why can't Pac just face Tim Bradley at 140? Same risk, better reward.

Very dangerous fight for Pacquiao... not less dangerous then Mayweather... possibly more dangerous.

 

Do you think because of his natural size that Clottey wouldn't get suckered into the whole little man vs big man mindset?

 

THis will be a fun fight to watch but Clottey is taylor made for Pac.

There is nothing Clottey does that is better than anything Pac can do.

And size means nothing when the guy in front of you has a huge advantage in skills.

You guys are really underestimating Roach he is becoming one of the best
match-makers in the history of boxing. Pac will look invincible once again.

The only real question here is whether or not Clottey lasts the full 12.

 

Its gonna be like waves slamming against rocks. Clottey ain't going nowhere and as fast as Pac is he's there to be hit and when Clottey opens up he is more effective then Cotto imo.

And Clottey definitely doesn't do that weird ineffctive side-side shuffle that Cotto is in the habit of doing.

 

Who knows maybe Pacquiao will turn boxer in this fight like he did in the beginning of the Cotto fight.

That will probably be an effective style vs clottey. Cus his usual angry midget hyperdrive will probably just get him potshotted and counterpunched
