Clottey is a top 5 welterweight. Pac just demolished the #2 welterweight. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that this isn't a step up in competition. Clottey is a good fighter, but Pac is a bad style matchup for him. Clottey would be a tougher fight for Floyd than for Pac because his low workrate and tendency to fight only sporadically would hurt him less against Floyd, who is similarly inclined.
