If this fight happens. I would think that Clottey will win this fight, because I do believe that mayweather would not be able to impose his will against Clottey, due to the fact that he does not have a heavy hand. I will state that Clottey will develop the courage to bull doze his way toward May and impose his strenght to get a decision or a knock out, but then again this fight will not come into fruition because no one will probable entertain the Idea. Just an opinion, not hating on Mayweather, but I expect a response from May fans anyway.
Mayweather would win every round, although in a different manner than manny did last night. Floyd & Manny are the two best fighters in the world, Clottey is just not on that level and would lose to either. Floyd would box his head off. Silly thread really because this site seems to be losing all reason and rationale as people refuse to accept that both Manny & Floyd are amazing and that it's a 50/50 fight.
mayweather will open clottey up a lot more than pac did. it would be even more one sided than against pacquiao.
this fight has no bearing on my prefight thoughts of him using PED's! That fight was the biggest farce I have ever seen!! Clottey came to survive, he never at anypoint in the fight looked like he wanted to win. didnt use his strength or his size to his advantage, didnt spoil him or lean on him... just stood there with his hands up and took pacs shots for 12 rounds. didnt land a single meaningful punch, even the uppercuts were pushed through. Pacquiao looked like he was dancing around a big, 160lb punchbag for the whole night. Why didnt Clottey even try and win? What was his intentions?... To survive against Pacquiao? Oh my god, I feel so sorry for the people who had to pay for that ****!!... Just a workout for Pacquiao, who at no point in the fight shown any sign if tiredness or slowing down. Clottey would win a few rounds, but Mayweather would take it quite comfortably. It's all hypothetical, the idea of Mayweather taking on a world class career welterweight is a bit fanciful.
