Clottey has said he wanted Williams and PW said "Any time"

    HBO killed the fight.

You people hear what you want to hear and leave out the rest.

Paul will fight anyone for a decent purse. If Clottey really wants it, it'll happen.

He did accept the challenge. But HBO didn't want the fight

Clottey is a shield to protect Cotto for Williams basically

Why didn't margarito contact him to accept the rematch?

And why don't Cotto tell his daddy Bob Arum to accept the challenge?

And why don't Shane stop ducking him?

    Floyd? Nevermind.

And it will not matter. Petey has every intention on running through both of these guys. That was the only reaon Clottey called him out before was to take heat off Margarito.

There's another chance right here or will HBO be blamed again?

    I don't know.

My gues is that Paul really wants to fight Cotto or Shane. Why would he want to fight the loser of the big fight? Really. You don't think he deserves better?

    Agreed......

Has Williams even replied as of yet. He should fight Segrio or Dzinziruk. Better win than Clottey is

Williams wants Cotto or Mosley. But is going to settle for Segrio or Dzinziruk.

I'm talking about right now not 1998. Protecting Cotto has nothing to do with it. If Clottey can't get a rematch, he's going for the next best available opponent.

This was just 8 months ago.

    It just happened.

But again. Answer the question. You don't think Williams deserves Shane or Cotto??? Is he not good enough? Why should he have to settle for the loser of the fight?

He is not the best opponent. This man failed twice against Cotto/Margarito. What credit does Williams get beating him, Zero credit

The Cotto or Mosley fights probably won't happen anytime soon and if Williams fought Clottey in the mean time (a lot of people are saying that he beat Cotto) and beat him, he gets himself back in the mix and those fighters would have to fight him at some point.

I wish Shane would agree to fight Williams because he doesn't have anything better up next and it would be a great fight. Do you still think Williams would be effective at 147 or would he be somewhat drained?
