 No thanks buddy, they take 15 minutes a peice! I've only seen about 4 fights of each fighter too, so I'll skip this one! I do have an entire thread on how I'd want Cotto to fight Mayweather though :hey

You're right about Cloud's footwork, he fights in straight lines. Pascal does the exact opposite and wastes alot of movement when fighting in circles. A big key here will be the muscle on Cloud's frame, it will restrict his lateral movement (Been saying that for years, it's similar to how Jeff Lacy was) If Pascal can keep turning then it's an easy night for him, but the crux is that his own stamina fades, meaning Cloud will catch up at some point.

pascal is explosive but fights in spots.... the longer the fight goes, the more it favors cloud... I think cloud stops Pascal late...

I think Pascal stops him around 9, right when he kicks in that 2nd wind. The 1st 5 rounds will **** Cloud off, and he may go all out trying to catch Pascal out when he takes his mid-round break.

Granite also cracks and it is under certain circumstances that sand, water and cement get tough and under others it breaks. Cloud will provide Pascal with his first kayo loss, hell yeah.

    I got Cloud

Pascal has a low work rate and gets tired after 5 rounds

Cloud is a great inside fighter and has good power and is explosive

Pascal is no where near as good a counter puncher or awkward as Campillo

I like both I probably like Pascal more but Cloud edges

    Yeah, I agree.

I've been saying it for years now, Pascal has too much muscle and maybe not enough body fat (long term energy - he had less than 3% fat comming in the first Hopkins fight iirc).

Anyway, I'm pumped for that one. Should be a lot of fun!:bbb

    Pascal, possibly by TKO.

When Pascal lands a shot he usually follows it up with swarms of punches and Cloud doesn't use much head movement at all, if any. Just stands and covers up waiting for a break to start throwing back. Hopkins got hit with some bombs but did a great job of getting out of the way of the follow up attacks, can Cloud improve on that part of his game? Also Cloud doesn't seem to be very mobile so unless he catches Pascal cold I think he's going to get frustrated, doing a lot of chasing.

This to me is a 50/50 fight, that I see Cloud winning. I'm amazed at the amount of people picking Pacsal to win. I say Cloud wins because he's more active consistently, punches harder than Pascal, and I believe his chin is equal or better to Pascals. Oh, and Pascal hasn't fought in a LONG time.

Pascal resume is impressive. Froch, Diaconnu 2x, Dawson, Hopkins 2x and now Cloud.

I don't who will win this but Pascal doesn't have a granit chin, he has been shaken before, in almost every fight I pointed out. He knows how to deal with it, but his chin is suspicious. I see Pascal out speeding and out boxing Cloud. Cloud though as a puncher chance, but that's about it. Again Pascal's chin is not what people say about it here.

Pascal is a 6 round fighter going in there against a hard-hitting guy who will be on him all 12 rounds. Even an 87 year old Bernard Hopkins was able to pressure and wear him down. Granted Cloud isn't as skilled as Hopkins but he can apply a better workrate and hits harder.

Cloud does have some defensive holes which makes this interesting. I can see either Cloud outworking him to a 12 round decision or Pascal stopping Cloud. Wouldn't even be shocked by a late round stoppage from Cloud.

I have to agree with you on the chin part. He isn't sporting any glass by any means but he can get buzzed from some good shots and freeze up. That's gotta tell you something about his head movement. I don't know how he managed to stay on his feet when Dawson smoked him with that huge left uppercut, damn!

I picked Pascal because there seems to be a playbook on Cloud after his last fight. Stay out of Clouds range, jump in with flurries when the coast is clear. That's pretty much Pascal's game.

But yes, I would not bet the house on it because Pascal can get sloppy and Cloud hits HARD.

i think Pascal will take him out at some point past the halfway point, Pascal landed some big punches on Dawson and Dawson is usually hard to hit, imagine the punches hes gonna land on Cloud who has no head movement at all
