    Clyde Gray probably would have been a champion in a later era with more titles available. Solid top 10 guy for years, but not at Napoles level and by the time he fought Cuevas, he was just another victim.

    I Don’t know much about him. But he had a good record and from the looks of it he never lost to a “ weak “ fighter. Had some decent wins too. His boxrec photo shows him in good shape.

    MM, if you get a chance, watch Gray's shot at the vacant title against Angel Espada. The official scores are ludicrous. 4 of us tackled the fight and presented our scores. 3-1 had it for Gray. He was a beautiful fighter to watch and one who could do it all.
