Joe Calzaghe's long time coach has dismissed a speculated comeback: Joe to come back and be trained by Mayweather Snr?
As the most hardent of Calzaghe fans, I have to disagree with enzo's comments. prime RJJ would have destroyed him,a 40 odd yr old hopkins fight was too close to call a career defining win, and he didnt make the fights fans wanted i.e pavlik (who he would have ruined as bad as lacy) and froch (who he would of made look an amatuer) and johnson whom is the only fighter i believe joe actually ducked in his whole career. Joe was a special talent but he didnt prove it, its too late now, he will bury his head in the sand or more recently bury his head into a pile of coke... Killed me to say it all and put down a fighter who i have followed since i was a kid, but the guy is a fraud, having watched the super 6 where guys give up their 0's to secure a legitimate legacy blows holes in Joe's padded record.
History will only prove Calzaghe was one of boxing's greatest frauds. Sven Ottke was a better champion.
