I agree this is a hard fight for Pac, Canelo has much better skills than Marg.

Bardley was prime, Pac fought him twice. Marquez was more dangerous in the last fight than any others with him. Dont act like Pac doesnt take on challenges

 

Agree with the catchweight & rehydration clause, 1 million per pound that Canelo is over too.

The lack of footspeed & weight cut would really hurt Canelo, he'd probably still hurt Pac though, but I'd still take Pac UD.

Heard the fight is being discussed for December before mannys contract ends with top rank. I guess arum is thinking that if he can't have the floyd money, he better pass floyd a shot pacquiao after canelo must have put a beating on him..... Thereby manny have no choice but to re sign with top rank.

Alvarez can't make 154 anymore which means Pac has to move up to Middleweight if they ever make this fight.

 

there is no point for pac to fight at mw. he has accomplished what he set to accomplish in the div.

but, for the right amount of money, nothing is impossible.

couple of things for this to happen:
1. pedjr is off to africa again.
2. pee wins and refuses to fight pac. (if alvarado wins, we get pac-alvarado at 147).
3. if there isnt enough money for pac-ruslan at 140. pac's team hinted at going to 140. i thought that is for this fight and possibly against mikey garcia/gamboa down the road.

unless pac gets pedjr after drainelo, lagacy-wise, there is nothing to accomplish in this fight.

 

At this stage Pacquiao is already fully established. Moving to Middleweight will have to be for a title or nothing, even then he doesn't really need to do it. I must say though, if he does it would be crazy.
