Hart wrote for an absolute comic, (The Sun) but he was well respected by the likes of Reg Gutteridge and Des Lynam. Good to hear his views.
Nice argument. Being an old fossil like Colin Hart doesn't give you any special insight. In his case, his animus toward Fury/modern fighters is probably mostly occupational and ethnic, whereas I suspect yours is good ol' days nostalgia.
Remember Joshua in his first 15 fights? I know they were easier fights than later fights in his career, but he used to smile and snarl whilst attacking his 'prey'. He lost that mentality before actually getting stopped. As soon as he started taking hard shots, he started to get shyer and shyer. Now he's over cautious to the point of almost not being worth stepping in the ring. If his confidence is that far shot, he's cooked like the old bloke says. He overthinks every aspect of every part of his career. That's a sign of being cooked. He may we well hang them up if he can't find the "fighter" in himself, because no one else is going to find him for him.
