Ramsey couldn't handle Jones and took his chance to get out. A warning or a point at most would have been right and Jones would have finished the fight in the next round IMHO.

I think Ramsey went down to accept the loss and bank his cheque, he probably couldn't believe his luck when he got the DQ win as well.

Ramsey was massively outclassed...the reaction to Jones grazing the top of his head with his forearm was of Dirrel proportions. Shocking decision by the ref....The body shot that dropped him initially was class

clearly hit they guy when he was down. who's fault is it that he clearly hit a guy when he was down? opening himself up for the DQ and only has himself to blame

He scuffed him on the top of the head with his wrist/forearm....the ref should have been straight in as soon as Ramsey took a knee. A ridiculous play act by Ramsey is what got Jones DQ'd, not the late punch.

The problem is, although its technically against the rules, if you DQ fighters under those circumstances they you are just encouraging that kind of BS play acting from boxers who are looking for a way out.

Given that Jones only scuffed him and no way hurt Ramsey with the blow a point off would have been more than enough in that case.

    Common sense Lirva.

Slighlty harsh from ref, but no arguments with the dq from me. What a ridiculous shot to throw, the guy was cream *******ed from that body shot

Great footage ..... haven't seen that since it aired at the time.

No home-town favours there. I think that's Welsh referee Adrian Morgan, disqualifying a Welsh fighter, in Wales.

Dreadful display of play-acting but **** ..... those body shots must have hurt!!

agreed. ridiculous shot to throw. it is illegal to throw a shot when the guy is down. the guy was clearly down and a shot was thrown and the guy said he couldn't continue because of that shot = dq.

how many people disagree with this DQ but agree with Abraham being DQd?

There no way he should have been DQ as it looked a good body shot and the follow shot was nothing. I remember whatching Jim Watt fight the yank forgot his name and he head butted him on the ropes back the way and nothing was done its just like today if your face fits
