I had Hatton edging it. If I remember right, Collazzo seemed to slow his output for a while and let Hatton back into the fight....or am I thinking of another? Maybe the Berto fight, which I thought Collazzo won. Either way, I thought Hatton edged it.

Nobody in their right mind gave that fight to Hatton, hahaha!

Although he was VERY impressive in the opening rounds.

i had it 115-113 hatton. but it was a close fight an i see the argument to be made. the knock down and i didnt give collazo a 10-8 12th round. he hurt him but hatton recovered to well an fought back hard enough to make it 10-9. although hatton took alot of clean shots he didnt seem effected till round 12 and hatton fought his fight and dominated most of the time.

You're poll doesn't make sense. How can a person have it a UD?

UD- all 3 judges for one fighter
SD- 2 judges for fighter A. 1 for fighter b
Majority decision- 1 draw and 2 for fighter a
majority draw- two draws overrule 1 judge for one fighter

I'm not sure how I can score it as a UD, since I'm only one person, but Hatton narrowly won this fight. It was this fight that showed that, while he is brave and busy, Hatton was never going to be an ATG. A lot of the ridiculous hype that surrounded him after the Tszyu fight went away after Collazo revealed his many limitations.

Hatton by a point imo. The knockdown won it for him.

This was actually my favourite fight of his career. His career up until about round 9 of the collazo fight had pretty much gone his way. He had bullied his way right up the p4p list and seemed unstoppable at the time. This was the first time he had to dig deep in my opinion.

Have to say the results of the poll are surprising to say the least - I watched the fight live and had Collazo winning unanimously and at worst by split decision. What this poll does confirm is that there is a healthy abundance of casual boxing fans on this forum. Viva la boxeo!
