He had ahand injury against Mosley and lost in controversay to Hatton ... I don't think that he's a garbage fighter. Berto has yet to face a former welterweight champion and once he does the truth will come out.
Mosley isn't overrated ... Mosley is a great fighter and has paid his dues over the years. A win over Collazo doesn't say much about either fight but that Collazo lost and Mosley won ... nothing bad can be said about either fighter that night and despite being injured -- Collazo still put fourth a great effort.
Well Mosley is a great fighter at any age and certainly is not overrated, and I hears he had a broken finger, anyway that doesn't matter,he is a good fighter,if Berto grows a pair and fights him he should prove his valor
I was right in calling Mosley old he was 36 at the time and he sure looked overrated against Mayorga.
Collazo wasn't troubled by Hatton's hand speed at all - it was the constant pressure and body work which took him out of his comfort zone. He also got lazy at times which allowed Hatton to steal rounds (see 11).
I think Collazo will be a good test for Berto. I don't think that he can win by KO. However if he pulls out the upset it will be on points. I am going with Berto on this one.
4 rounds of a 12 round fight. He should've won. I mean, I actually bet on him but he didn't fight enough to beat the house fighter. (I had Collazo winning by KO vs Hatton):?
agreed, you all can say Collazo's under rated he's ranked #1 by the WBC he broke his thumb and got schooled vs Mosley he got dropped early vs Hatton won the late rounds, but still lost his Welterweight belt to a natural 140 pounder ^ it was a screw job but what positive things has Collazo done at 147 to deserve all this claim sure Luis has fought better names, but he's been a pro longer then Berto and that should almost be expected. Luis definitely isn't garbage, but if you think he's gonna kayo Andre .. it could be the other way around, IMO
