You have me worried Johnny, are you alright ?

We all know your love for Kegs, maybe try a Spaten Franziskaner Hefeweisse, it might have a soothing effect on a intellectual Heavyweight and "Enfant terrible" like yourself on ESB..

Did you not read my post. I said Foreman beats most but the very elite Heavyweights of that time. That means he beats fighters like Bruno, Ruddock, Weaver, Smith.
Foreman faced decent competition during his comeback in fighters like Bert Cooper, Gerry Cooney, Adilson Rodriguez, Alex Stewart, Pierre Coetzer, Tommy Morrison, Axel Shulz, Lou Savarese, Shannon Briggs.
These were some of the best of the non-elites during that time.

Before the Holyfield fight I think Foreman beats most if not all of those non-elite contenders. The Holyfield fight I feel took some starch away from Big George's comeback. Foreman took a real beating at the hands of Holyfield that he I dont think he ever was ever as sharp as he was in that fight and with each passing fight he was getting slower and slower.

Its always been my contention that the Foreman that faced Holyfield knocks out Mike Tyson. Styles make fights.

Oh, Good Lord ! Here I go again. I genuinely have nothing against Frank but I'm always picking against him.
Big, wise old George has a look at Frank, times him and flattens him with a right over that big, predictable, ponderous left lead.
Foreman had the accumulated knowledge of sparing with Liston and being counselled by Sandy Saddler, Archie Moore and Angelo Dundee.
Bruno was brave, disciplined but terribly hittable. A few hard fights earlier in his career might have made him but after Jumbo Cummings, Lawless put him back in cotton wool.
    Foreman inside four.

Your idiol couldn't even reach the final bell against Holyfield and pensioner Foreman did so that means Foreman batters Tyson, see, we can all use your logic.

Foreman via hard-fought late TKO. He takes quite a beating early on, but weathers the storm to rally a strong comeback.

Sounds really feasible,Fergy. Even an old George would eventually overcome Frank. Happy New Year to you mate and to every single poster on this forum.
