It looks like you've got a picture and done something to it in Photoshop.

i hate it when people say that, if you want ill put up the sketches when i get a chance. you dont get the same effect with photoshop and it always pixelates. these are vector potraits mate, a lot better quality and you cant get this effect in photoshop

Each to their own i spose, but seriously cartoon sketches only use a certain number of solid block shape tones and my work is built by using a different tone in each shape to build up the shape of the charector hence why it takes a lot longer to make than a cartoon. I appreciate critics but at least give a somewhat detailed answer :-(

draw a sketch depicting the basic shapes, scan the image, draw over the sketch in illustrator and draw shapes inside the ones drawn in the sketch and eventually it builds up the image you see there. its one of my favourite techniques but i experiment with different things usually

well im no art expert so i cat really give a detailed answer, i just dont like it, it looks like it was done on computer or something, i mean they would look **** with a frame aroud them sitting on my wall, the faces are not recognisable especially mayweather who looks like dan glover, the best face is tiger woods actually looks like him, as for the AA one dont get me started what a waste of paint

Fine you dont like them then you dont like them, thats just you but to say they are **** is just ignorant as they have taken time and effort to get the perspective right.

They were drawn using a computer program but its not some cheap photoshop effect and as for the abraham one ill agree i could have done it better but as for a waste of paint your going a bit far. I spent a day just doodling with that piece and its not my favourite but it helped develop my work to what it is now. yes they dont completly look like them due to my style which im still developing but they do look like them

Waste of paint? They would look **** with a frame around them? Neither being true, and I instantly recognised who all of the boxers were. He's obviously put a lot of effort into these and takes pride in his work, so if you don't like them just say, "not really my style mate", and leave it at that.

Your work looks great, Red, keep it up. Show us whatever else you do in the future and I might consider purchasing something. I'm a bit thin on cash at the moment.

I also really like the AA design. I could easily see me hanging something like that on my bedroom wall, or even buying a T shirt with that print.
