Tough. I'd say third, with the mess heavyweight is in a five fight streak over Arlovski-Kyle-Fedor-Cormier-Sergei/Barnett would probably be good enough. Not so sure if it goes the other way and Barnett or Sergei wins. Sergei has generally been inactive since PRIDE, while Barnett has been beating up C list fighters and has the steroid stigma hanging over him.
Yeah I agree, it would be VERY interesting to see JDS try to work behind the jab and Cain try to take Antonio down. It would be a long night for either of them
Kyle had no problem beating Silva up early on. Werdum had no problem getting Silva to the ground. Much like Rogers or Werdum, Big Foot is overrated based on a good performance against Fedor. Look for Cormier to wrestle-**** him.
Barnett vs Cormier would be an interesting fight - I could see Cormier keeping the fight standing and just outstriking Josh.
Josh is a bit bigger and could see him taking him down via a trip myself. Cormiers hands aint that great
Aint that great is still better than Josh when it comes to stand up. I could see Barnett perhaps taking him down but catch wrestling isn't always that effective in getting folkstyle wrestlers. And Cormier may be nervous about the grappling ability of Barnett.
Perhaps...not ready to get on the Barnett bandwagon just yet - it was after all only Brett Rogers. We'll have a better idea after this tournament.
