Concerns were raised over Green's next challenger

Flores looks ripped & already near 200 pounds....i hope im wrong but i have this feeling the agreed weight is 190 or 195 pounds.

 

Yeah, you'd think 2 weeks out from the fight looking like that - either he's peaked too early or he's intending to drop more...not sounding good...

 

thanks for the pic, Flores looks very cut up, hope he hasnt peaked early or is coming in at some agreed dannyweight, i guess we will soon see come weigh in.

In the video - upon rewatching it though it probably alludes more than states. The reporter says that Green fights at a catchweight of 84kg and that the pressure is on for Flores to make the weight. Could be a case of misreporting, but then again the weight hasn't been confirmed with much conviction so far.

 

I have been saying all along on the forum that this fight will probably be at some bull**** catchweight. I certainly don't EVER see Green fighting a genuine decent cruiserweight at the 200 limit. If Flores has to shrink down to 185/190 or so then this fight is just another farse.

**** i hope Green gets KTFO.

 

I thnk someones pointed this out before. Flores may be ripped like that because this is the fight of his life, he is not going to dog it and this shows from all the hard work he has been doing in the gym.

More importantly what i thinks been pointed out already is Flores has stated that this fight is at 200lb. He says dannys been fighting non creditable opponents so imo if Danny made him agree to Dannyweight he would speak up about it.

Around the 2.36 mark he is asked by some reporter..."This will be catchweight because you cant get down to his can you" to which Flores replies "No were actually fighting at 200 pounds so its uhhh crusierweight, the regular limit, no catchweight on this one" ( Flores shakes his head and smiles).

Somepeople cannot help themselves. Any weight less than 200 pounds shouldn't be for a cruiserweight title.

The quickest and simplest way to put this to rest is for team Green to make a public statement that the fight is confirmed for the cruiserweight limit.

If our boxing press had any nouse or balls they'd be knocking on team Green's door right now seeking the answer!

 

Has anyone actually heard anything about it being at catchweight? I don't think green would be that stupid.
