Would like to see him in with Rees again, it was a shame that fight was stopped so early. Both are naturally quality boxers with a few frailties, Mathews more so I suppose.

But as we saw tonight, his heart more than makes up for them so it'd be a very nice fight to see again IMO

Not sure about Crolla coming back. Very disheartening fight for him IMO, one that will make him doubt his style and overall class, and also other fighters will look at that and take heart, knowing he can be stopped in his tracks.

He'll be back, he's got to much to give at his age to just walk away. He's got that giant Gallagher Smith team behind him and Stephen Smith just came back from a similar set back with Selby.

I think Derry could take Rees in a rematch, he looked like he had enough to give Rees problems in there first fight. Well done to both him and crolla.

It's not his fault and he put on a fantastic performance - lots of heart and skill in there tonight. So it's a shame the terrible stoppage will detract from that.

What nonsense. He'll learn from it, and realise he's not the Terminator so can't just walk through punishment.

And then people wonder why I'm so confident Frampton will beat Quigg...
