Connor McGregor is all over the place right now blowing money, showing off cars, calling himself the "money fight" of UFC and telling guys that fighting him is a sweepstakes win. Well if I didn't know any better I would bet that he is copying the worlds #1 P4P money fighter in boxing. It working well for him and I like ****y fighters, but now I just want UFC and Dana White to admit that they are nothing but a boxing organization that allows fighters to roll around on their backs.:rofl
Ronda's become big business by being original. She's like a bad **** girl in a man's world. McGregor's doing nothing new. Same as Mayweather. It's just a new generation of talking and giving it large. I'm well aware of how it makes me and most fans buy into a fight/fighter more. Always has, always will. It's a simple but effective sales technique. Many have done it before him, but Ali did it particularly well. He supposedly got it from Gorgeous. So maybe boxing and MMA have fake wrestling to thank for their popularity and riches. Surely that constitutes irony.
