A rematch would probably be the biggest money fight out there...

He fell into that category where he eats well and is active person on the move but being in shape and being in fight shape are very different things. No fighter should ever get tired before the championship rounds at least. I think he got too caught up with Ido Portal. Movement should be in addition to fight training but not replace it. Connor may also fall into the category where he gets in fight shape while getting to a weight so him not having to train hard to get to 145 may have hindered him.

He needs to defend his title, his obligations as champ triumph avenging an embarrassing super fighter L. Once and if he settles business can he think about fights outside of 145.

If he goes back to 145 and 55 and is successful then no one will care about this loss. Instead they will look at it as typical of the thug life ala BJ Penn.

Connor McTouchButt already made it clear he wants nothing to do with Nate anytime soon..it backfired on him bigtime.

He had the option of taking Pettis or Cowboy at 155lb as they were already both in full training camps, he picked Diaz knowing he was lying on a beach with zero fight camp thinking it would be a cake walk and wanted the fight at 170lbs, Diaz was willing to go in lighter.

All the **** he talked like it was something rehe****d from WWE and the way he fought in the first round thinking Nate would roll over, in the end he shot in giving up position so he could tap instead of getting knocked out...quitter.

Nate made Conor look stupid his hype train derailed , Karma catching up to Conjob now ..... lose the next fight and it's complete

Nate's career looking up and will cash in .

I rewatched the Mendes vs Conjob fight , Mendes took the fight on short notice and did quite well . Conjob does not have a great chin , he's weak on the ground , not good defensively and questionable cardio .

His PPV cut is what would have made his purse obscene.

Conor wont rematch Nate, he realizes he is more powerful at lower weights and will do everything he can to get back down to fight in them again.

Several guys at Nate's weight would waste Conor far worse than Nate beat Conor.

Anyone that doesn't realize that deserves to be arm barred.

    How much do you earn?
just out of interest, don't have a fanny fit,
by the mom comment in your profile I am guessing your under 15 but that still would mean about 15k a year , more than your going to earn shinning shoes?

ellerbe you are clueless! Mcgregor thought he was a world beater and thought he could beat anyone and everyone! in featherweight he has proved himself il give him that! But he tried to beat the world and move up! He got found out and got flopped! Move on with your life you sad pathetic Welt, face it you know nothing! your ufc conspiracy theories are laughable a bit like yourself! McGregor will go back to where he belongs and defend his title! hopefully he will be man enough to fight Edgar thats a fight i want to see!

Word on the web is that this rematch is almost finalized for the Main Event at UFC 200.

I think if this happens, it means that McGregor doesn't think he can make 145lbs anymore and they are just keeping it quiet.

Nate will absolutely eat McGregor's soul in the build up to this fight. McGregor will have no confidence going into a fight against a Full-camp Diaz. Horrible decision by Conor IMHO.

I hope Connor rematches him just because it says alot about his character. I always liked that Mosley fought fighters twice even though 2 of them looked like horrible match ups for him.
