THE REAL CRIME is the testing agencies and the commissions don't treat all the boxers the same. My mate Jeff promoted by Bob doesn't have $500k for Lawyers like Eddie Hearn does.

 

This is so bad for boxing, well British Boxing.

I know we've had many failed tests here before but this was a very high profile case and the way Hearn and Benn wriggled out of things has left British boxing with a fractured orbital (not just a black eye).

The fact Benn instantly dropped his BBBofC licence and used that loophole was a disgrace and now IN MY OPINION he is basically threatening the BBBofC with a potential lawsuit to reinstate him with no real questions asked.

That just how it seems to me, that's my opinion, Benn wants the BBBofC to let this go and if they don't then he will sue, cost them a lot of money defending themselves and maybe even bankruptcy.

Because Hearn hasn't got the stable to fill cards abroad to cater to Benn and his financial demands so Benn need to fight in the U.K. to generate the money and interest he requires to get paid.


I don't think British boxing fans will forgive him as easily as he thinks, just because WeBeCrooks have "cleared" him isn't a clean slate and whatever he does now will be questioned and his name is tarnished forever.

 

He needs to show his receipts for eggs. Or proof of egg consumption that is greater than other boxers who've pissed clean.

I think Boxing has got the approach to PEDS about right. Pay lip service to testing and try to put off anyone doing ridiculous protocols.

Generally everyone is better off with a see no evil, hear no evil, sweep it under the carpet approach. Sad to say it but it really is the only real solution going forward.
