I had a dream a few nights ago that Pac beat the snot out of Floyd, however Pac was extremely pissed off of how he won. Floyd looked tired and weight drained. He would not throw punches and just kept holding on. Kinda of like the Cotto Fight. So Pac demanded an IMMEDIATE rematch because he felt something was not right and Mayweather was not at his best. Sure enough Floyd showed up and brought his A game and whopped Pac rather convincingly. What did that setup? Only the biggest trilogy boxing has ever know. At the end of my dream all I saw was that Floyd and Pac both deposited 125 million dollars each into their accounts and all three were smiling and smoking cigars. You say three? Yes Bob Arum was in the middle. Yes I know it sounds stupid but this is boxing. Its crooked corrupt and most times very dishonest. I know its a silly dream but it got me thinking, could Arum really attempt to do this? I say yes. It would suck for us fans to be shafted but thats life. Thoughts?
My thoughts are that both fighters have way too much pride to ever lose a fight on purpose. They both already have a ton of money. They are not going to sacrifice their pride for some money.
I had the same dream. ha In fact, I think this fight was set up since the beginning. And BigReg and ayone else who shares his opinion that these guys have too much pride to throw a fight: You are wrong. Money is the only thing that matters to Floyd. And if Floyd comes back and wins two fights after losing one to Pac, then he actually ends up looking better than if he just beat him once easily.
yup..you know mayweather personally....family and values mean **** to him...for all we know he is out at night murdering people..he is the most horrible man and ranks up with osama bin laden in people who deserve nothing more than to be dead.... He has no children to impress nor does he mind if his kids see him "look hurt".... ****ing joke....
He has a 5 fight deal with Golden Boy. Marquez is one, Pacman will be 2, Mosley-Berto will be 3. He could possibly buy his way out of the contract and retire I guess. Or maybe if a fighter retires they don't have to honor the remaining fights. I don't know how that works. But why sign up to a five fight deal instead of a 3 fight deal if he was only going to retire after 3 fights anyway.
:think anything is possible. floyd did say he was a businessman first, but if this would happen manny would be as much to blame. they might split the first 2 and the 3rd give their best, but would probably not be in their best shape anymore. deep ****, but i doubt it. they could sign whatever they want to sign on paper, but if they would have a rematch and for example if they all agreed to your idea and lets say floyd won the first one and arum fixed the fight for manny to win the second one, floyd could change his mind in middle of the fight and just tag an unsuspecting manny who was meant to win and floyd win both fights and collect his money. i really doubt these guys really trust each other that much to pull something like this off. but anything is possible.
