Diaz hasn't been an elite fighter since about 2007, when he fought Juan Diaz and quit. Khan's people have got to be careful. The last fight was a joke and this is another mismatch, so whilst it's good to be learning, if there's a gulf in class between Diaz and Khan's next opponent, fighting at a low level for his previous couple of bouts won't do him much good.

Why did Josesito Lopez turn down a fight with Khan? His promoter was speaking to Elie sechback and said that he wanted the Khan fight next for Lopez. Must of been either money or weight issues.
I don't know why people are complaining about this fight. He isn't going to jump in with a top guy straight after hooking up with Hunter. IF he wins this fight, then he will either go after Garcia or move up to 147. Thing is, Khan will still sell a lot of tickets because of his style and vulnerability.

I wouldn't trust a word the OP says. He has previous for saying Khan was about to sign to fight loads of fighters that never materialised. Most of the 'in the know' stuff we hear about Khan ends up being a load of garbage. Saying that, if it were to be Diaz it's an awful fight. There would be no progression from the Molina fight and there really needs to be.
