Hopkins would beat Monzon at MW
Hopkins would beat Tiger at MW
Hopkins would beat LaMotta at MW
Hopkins would beat SRR at MW
Hopkins would beat Harold Johnson at LHW
Hopkins would beat Loughran at LHW

    How controversial is that ??

    Hopkins isn't a top 10 Middleweight.

Pacquiao loses to most of the best in head to head matchups between 126-147.

Packey McFarland was at least on a par with Gans, Leonard, and Duran.

Howard Winstone had the best jab of all time, and was the best textbook pure boxing technician ever.

De La Hoya wasn't a true great.

Lennox Lewis isn't a top 10 Heavyweight, and is vastly overrated head to head.

Harold Johnson's jab is a tad overrated.

Tony Canzoneri was at least as good as Archie Moore.

Hilario Zapata was the most talented overall defensive genius in the sport's history.

Chang was every bit as good as Harada.

Wifredo Gomez in his youth (up to the Zarate fight) was the most talented overall fighter I've ever seen.

SRR and SRL are equals in terms of ability.

harold johnson would **** hopkins up badly.

    here's a few:
Louis beats Ali in any fight series. He loses the first time and then masters him in the rematches.

Langford beats Frazier head to head.

Armstrong and Pacquiao are a bit lucky that the best guys they ran into were faded.

Harold Johnson is the best fighter ever from Philadelphia.

Not a single lightweight or junior welter in history could have consistent enough to have taken Julio Cesar Chavez's career path to perfect 100-0 in that era.

Fighting Harada would beat Carlos Zarate. Harada is criminally underated.

Thomas Hearns gives any pure boxer absolute fits (non-puncher) up to 175 lbs.

Gregorio Peralta might be the toughest light heavyweight ever.

Jack Johnson succeeds in any era.

Michael Spinks onslaught late in his fight with Eddie Muhammad might be the most vicious ever survived.

Ok, hear we go. If Floyd and Manny fight, Floyd will win with ease. His fight with Judah will be tougher than his one with Pac.
SRL and Sweet Pea are just as skilled or even more skilled than SRR
Rocky Marciano is the most overrated boxer of all time
The only TRUE atgs in this era are Floyd, Pac, Hopkins, and RJJ.
Duran atg ranking is to high.
Floyd Mayweather is the second best defensive fighter of all time.

tszyu would have destroyed mayweather mosley and de la hoya if they fought similar fashion too judah but maybe a bit longer

roy jones greatest fighter head 2 head of all time

les darcy pushes jack dempseys **** in

    tito trinidad stops hagler late

hitman harding fittest fighter of all time

anyone who rates fitz and those early guys who fought like that with the all time greats is abusing copious amounts of drugs

dwight qawi story the biggest achievement against the odds in history

On just that one: Interestingly I rate them within five or six spaces of each other on my own greats list. Not controversial at all to me. :deal They're both in my top ten of personal favorites, to admit a potential bias.

James Toney would beat David Tua at HW
