cops seize $4million of coke from Calderon's house

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico—Federal agents in Puerto Rico have seized more than $4 million worth cocaine from a house owned by pro boxer Ivan Calderon.

Drug Enforcement Administration spokeswoman Laila Rico says 225 kilograms (nearly 500 pounds) of cocaine were found when agents raided the house in the coastal town of Humacao.

Calderon issued a statement Wednesday to WAPA-TV in Puerto Rico denying any knowledge of the drugs. The boxer says the house was one of a number of investment properties he owns and he was not aware of any illegal activities there.

The house was raided earlier this week following the arrest of an alleged Puerto Rican trafficker who has been charged in Miami with smuggling cocaine into the U.S. through the Dominican Republic.

I totally believe Calderon not kidding despite being a great boxer I highly doubt he made over his entire boxing career much more than a million if even that he certainly didn't have 4+ million worth of cocaine.

Nothing to see here he's not involved it's just that the media rather use calderon's name in the title to make it more sensationalistic and people will want to read their stories. The real problem is for the one that got caught in miami and the next day the cops raid this house. It's obvious that the guy in miami is snitching and the cops will have to beat him up to make him shut up.

Even if he is involved there is no way for the cops to prove it. The people he rented the house to have to be involved and know first hand that calderon knew and testify against him. If he covered every base he should come out alright. He'll just have to be more careful from now on and make sure only the top guys know what he's doing.

And hope that he doesn have to pay the 200 kilos on his own.

STFU ******* say the complete news, before saying that. was a House owned by Calderon but was rented to a married couple, but when the FBI when there another person was living the house with the drugs, Calderon didn't even know that other person was living the house. That thing happens in PR a lot. Drug lords using rented houses to put massive amount of drugs or make the house a drug laboratory.

 

That's not a G. That's not cool and he's not a don. IF he really is guilty and that's a big IF, that's stupid to have the career he has and blow it away on the drug game. Maybe he hasn't made as much as many other boxer's but I bet he has more than the average joe in the ghetto who decides he will not risk his self on drugs.
