Dont get me wrong, I found it pretty fun to watch, but I dont think it follow the "Real" fight blow by blow ete.

Than again, Outside of the report on the fight, we can all guess what it "look" like.

I just found the 3 knockdowns(2 knockdowns in real fight) and no thong Corbett a bit off lol.

    Don't worry.

They are not the best or brightest this site has to offer.

Well if some enjoyment was had by viewing it that's all that matters. You got a point about the knockdowns but I had to stick to the commentary of Don Dunphy, the great commentator. Surprised no one here pointed out it's Dunphy

PS I think Corbett wore normal long tights for that fight
    lol

Dunphy made the commentary for a commercial recording in the 60s

Wow, this is my first post and some of you guys are pretty critical. And incidently, innacurate in your criticism. The fight did not take place outdoors, but indoors at the Olympic Club in New Orleans.

I'm not a big fan of the hollywood version although I thought the staged fight itself was a faithful re-production and entertaining to watch. & I liked Ward Bond as John L.

    Merry Christmas everyone

Not sure on Thong Corbett or not, because if one sees the fight pics of Corbett Fitz, hand drawing, Corbett is in shorts.

But the fight footage and the photos taking from that fight are clearly has Corbett in a thong.
