is that who that was? LOL. He was talking about Rocky Marciano and Jack Dempsey trying to motivate Williams. Merchant said something to the effect of "Williams has 3 jockeys on his back" they were all talking over each other that was a disorganized corner.
I normally like his work, but Ronnie Shields did Tua absolutely no good whatsoever in the Lewis fight. Instead of tactical advice or tips he basically boiled down to just screaming stuff like "What are you ****ing doing? Hit the ****ing guy!" as each round went by. As much as Tua went into his shell as Lewis took the lead, Ronnie did absolutely nothing to get him out of it.
more recent, cotto against marg,he was losing and bleeding,he wasnt going to win so they could of stopped that.
Tyson's corner in the Lewis fight,McKinley,Shields and the rest of the guys were al talking in the same time different things.Ronnie Shields even said at one point:''One at a ****ing time''
Danny Williams 'Muslim Brotherhood' trainers since those came on board. 'Danny, use your jab and the right hand - Allah will take care of the rest'
Zab's Dad in EVERY fight the same advice: 'Zab, you gotta let your hands go! ba-ba-ba-ba-BA!!!!!!' Lacy's corner... should've pulled him out in round 9, 10, 11 or 12 and the winner is... Meldrick Taylor's corner going into that fateful 12th round telling him he needed to fight big to win the round and then distracted him after the knockdown
ZAB! YOU BUSSIN HIM UP! YOU BUSSIN HIS ASS UP! ZIP ZANG ZAP ZAP BOOM BING BAM COMBINATIONS! 1-2-3-4-5-6! COMBINATIONS SON!
Not to defend them because hsi corner has done an awful job on more than one occasion but I'm sure the recent Casamayor-Santa Cruz debacle was fresh in their minds as they made that order. I wouldn't have wanted left up in the judges hands either honestly.
Hagler against Leonard. His corner were ineffective but maybe this is down to Hagler being the boss by that stage
